3.2 EPM11 Web Login Check URLs
For the login checks ideally an LDAP/AD account would be provisioned with minimal user rights within the EPM System. Alternatively a Native Directory user could be used however this will not check Active Directory connectivity.
Use software to stimulate user logins and verify page responses based on the amount of work involved and the scripting solution used it may be required to limit the tests to fewer URL/Web Server combinations below are two suggestions though it may be interesting to take the Workspace login further than just Workspace and actually open an HFM application.
Below two simple Tests, Please refer to the Appendix 2 for Screen shots of the login process for Workspace and FDM. The allocated user account to be used during the login tests is: xxx
